It was a bit a strange week. I was exhausted and a lot was going on. Still busy with the apartment. Still praying that it will all work out. A blackout at my job, so we couldn’t make coffee for a few hours. Next to that I’ve made some awesome coffees this week and I met a barista from Greece. We made chemex together. It’s always fun to meet other crazy coffee people from all over the world. During the week I didn’t do so much, but on Saturday I had a mega cupping at Wer-Haus. This was because of the collaboration with Drift, a magazine devoted to coffee culture. I’ve tried 36 different coffees this night. Hello caffeine! Anyway, just four days to go and than I am off to NYC! Can’t wait!
If you ever go to Palma de Mallorca, you should visit La Molienda. Even before I knew I had to go to Mallorca, I already put this place on my to visit list. I was thinking that if I ever go to this beautiful island again I want to sip a coffee overthere. And so I did. Because of my job I had the opportunity to go. And it was worth the wait!
While posting this second vlog I am still at Mallorca. I had to go here for my job. Training and coaching baristas in Palmanova, a super touristic place next to Palma. I felt lucky and blessed to get the opportunity to come here. The trip really did me good. Everything was so relaxing. I didn’t mind to work here for a few days. Nice hotel, perfect view, sweet people and lovely sun. Oh and I had the best coffee of Palma! You can check it all out in my second vlog.
