Specialty Coffee in Seminyak Bali

Specialty Coffee in Seminyak Bali

Seminyak, mostly famous for shopping, party, and expensive restaurants and hotels. But Seminyak (or is it North Kuta?) is so much more than that. I recently figured that out. I’ve spend two days here to find the best specialty coffee. Pretty excited to share these specialty coffee shops with you.

Corner House

If it feels and looks like a specialty coffee shop? No totally not, but definitely worth the visit. For me it felt like visiting a trendy cocktails bar during day time (flashback to Transparent Coffee in Kuala Lumpur). Corner House, also famous for their food, is serving coffee from Revolver. This roaster also has their own shop in Seminyak, but haven’t been there yet. I do like the coffee from Revolver, although it’s a bit strong and intense. I first tried Revolver’s coffee at Revive in Ubud. Corner House is spacious, lot’s of concrete and has a cool vibe.

Expat Coffee Roasters

You find Expat Coffee Roasters at many places on the island. The first time I enjoyed their coffee was in Ubud at Full Circle. I had still had their shop in Seminyak on my to visit list and last November I finally went here. Small shop that feels like an espresso bar. Staff from Expat is always friendly, that’s why I love coming here. I am a big fan of their coffee.

Sibling Espresso

Located on the main road in front of the shopping centre and next to the famous brunch spot Sisterfield, you find Sibling Espresso. A specialty coffee shop where concrete meets coffee. And as you might know I love concrete. And coffee. So this spot already had extra points. Service was wonderful, so as the espresso I’ve sipped. I’m in the habit of taking something sweet with my coffee and the cookie was exactly what I was craving for. It was chewy, chocolaty and sweet. Perfection! You can also sip their coffee at Sisterfield if you are in desperate need of good food and good coffee.

TEMU Coffee

In the same street as Sibling Espresso, but tucked away in a cute green alley, you find TEMU. When visiting TEMU you almost feel like you are somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Bali. Avoiding the crowded and noisy Seminyak. I guess the most relaxing and zen place to sip a coffee. The espresso was pretty nice, so as the service.
