Straight after coming back from my trip to Scandinavia I was already making coffees somewhere. It made me realize how much I love preparing coffees for customers.
Something I’ve realized the last couple of months that I don’t get joy from working in a coffeeshop anymore. And after helping in other shops and on events I knew that I had to do something with this. That this makes me more happy and so I made the decision to stop working at Nømad Coffee from the end of November. Starting as a freelancer and do jobs here and there as a barista, trainer and consultant. It’s gonna be though, difficult and stressful, but I know I have to do this. So, even if I don’t want to work in a coffeeshop I don’t mind to do short projects and really understand the shop, the product, the team, the concept etc. That’s why I took this job at Double B. From day 1 in this place I feel so welcome and comfortable. Super nice team that are helping me out and we are having a good time working together. It really feels like a warm nest and I am very thankful for this. This made me get on point with my latte art pretty fast and I let’s see what else this opportunity will bring me. If you will look for me at Double B, I work here 20h per week, but I don’t have fixed schedule (ha! that’s why I wanted to be a freelancer). So, let me know when you are planning to visit and I will prepare you a beautiful coffee. I promise.
Next to happy new job, I almost forgot to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I can’t believe 2017 is already gone and now I have to write down 2018. But I am very excited for this new year. But you will see this in my new extra video that is coming online soon. I also changing a bit my weekly vlogs, so that you will see this video down here.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
